UPDATE (3:30pm): Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance has reopened, but Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway remains closed. Our original article continues below.

Two popular attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios are facing extended downtime today, February 14th. Both Rise of the Resistance and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway have failed to open today and remain closed as of 1:55pm. Historically, Rise of the Resistance is the second most popular attraction at Studios by average posted wait time, and Runaway Railway is typically in the top five. The extended downtime of both attractions is putting strain on other rides, with average wait times up some 45% across the board today versus yesterday, according to data from thrill-data.com.

Both Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway have a rolling average of 60 minutes of downtime this week, with Runaway Railway experiencing fewer, but longer, downtime. At this point, both attractions are well past their average amount of downtime.

Cast Members are encouraging guests to check the My Disney Experience app for the latest information about attraction operations. If you see a posted wait time in the app, that means that the attraction is operating.
