PHOTOS: Grand Avenue Foliage Now Blocks Views of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Disney has recently installed a small forest of trees atop the berm that runs across the Grand Avenue tunnel to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The trees now hide views of the new land on the other side of the wall and give the whole area a nice, grown in feel.

As a quick reminder, here’s what the view down Grand Avenue used to look like at two different parts of construction.

Now, the trees completely block the sights (and sounds) of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge construction.

It’s a really nice addition to the area and matches the work being done at the end of Pixar Place to hide the new land from guests.

Disney has announced that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2019.
