PHOTOS: Berm Installed at End of Pixar Place to Hide Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Work has progressed on a berm at the end of Pixar Place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to hide Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The berm will ensure that guests aren’t able to see into or out of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Here’s a look at the height of the berm at the end of Pixar Place.

You can see the berm to the left of the Toy Story Mania building in the Toy Story Land model.

A closer look at the work from near the Toy Story Mania third track exit and the Cruz Ramirez meet and greet area. Trees and foliage will eventually be planted to completely block the view.

Pixar Place as we now know it will be closed off once Toy Story Land opens next summer. The entrance to Toy Story Mania will be flipped to the opposite side of the building once Toy Story Land opens. You can see the new entrance below in the model, represented by the red roof.

Toy Story Land is set to open Summer 2018 and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will open in 2019.
