FastPass+ enhancements coming April 10th

Starting this Sunday, April 10th, guests will notice enhancements to the FastPass+ system. These enhancements include:

  • Ability to book 1 – 3 FastPass+ options at a time. You’re no longer forced to book 3 at one time.
  • Ability to book additional FastPass+ options from the My Disney Experience app. You will no longer be required to visit a FastPass+ kiosk after your initial FastPass+ options are used up.
  • Ability to “park-hop” when booking additional FastPass (additional, not initial). Once your current or pre-arrivial FastPass+ selections have been used, you can book additional FastPass+ options at a different park if you’d like.

Important to note is that the windows for booking FastPass+ options remain the same. On-site guests are able to book 60 days in advance, with the rest of guests being able to book 30 days in advance.

A Walt Disney World Resort guest uses a MagicBand to enter Magic Kingdom theme park in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Guests also can use MagicBands to enter their Disney Resort hotel room, buy food and merchandise, enter Walt Disney World Resort theme parks and water parks, access their selected FastPass+ experiences and connect to Disney's PhotoPass. MagicBands are part of the new MyMagic+, which has the ability to connect nearly all aspects of the guest vacation experience at Walt Disney World Resort. (Kent Phillips, photographer)
