Animal Kingdom has recently added signs to the parking lot that help guests estimate the effort it would take them to walk to the main entrance from a given point.

The signs are a nice addition for guests who may have never visited Animal Kingdom and might be open to a short walk instead of waiting for the tram. As locals, we almost always walk in the parking lots as it’s oftentimes quicker based on the loading times of the trams.

The signs even have a fun little estimation if you happen to have an elephant.

In related news, Disney did recently allow the tram safety spiel to be played while the tram is in motion, cutting down on the time it takes to get you to the front gate, and hopefully helping with last-minute tram boarders.
