Walt Disney World Parking Lot Trams Now Playing Pre-Boarding Automated Safety Messages

Guests visiting Walt Disney World may notice a new automated safety message playing on the parking lot trams. The message now plays as guests board the parking lot trams at any of the Walt Disney World theme parks. We’re told that the change occurred yesterday, May 27th. In fact, the parking lot trams used to have similar automated safety messages in the past, but they were discontinued for some reason. So technically, this is the return of automated safety messages. Either way, we made it out to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to grab a recording!

New Parking Lot Tram Automated Safety Message

Here’s the new safety message, now playing instead of a live spelling from a Cast Member. Note that the automated message that is new is the one played before the tram dispatches. The old post-dispatch message about keeping your hands, arms, feet, and legs inside the tram, continues to play. There are also moments where the Cast Member stationed at the back of the tram can continue to live spiel, including reminding you where you parked.

As you board please lower your head and watch your step. Push down on the handle and pull out on the door. Please fold and stow all strollers and wheelchairs before we depart.

Children may not ride while in strollers. Once we are underway, please remain properly seated, facing forward, with no lap sitting except for small children.

During our journey, sudden stops and breaking may occur. If a personal belonging falls from the tram, please remain seated and inform the nearest Cast Member at the next stop.

Once you arrive at your destination, please be aware that you and your bags are subject to a security screening. Weapons of any kind, including firearms and knives, as well as selfie sticks are prohibited. If you have any of these items, please return them to your vehicle now. Thank you and welcome aboard.

For your safety, remain seated with the doors closed – keeping your hands arms feet and legs inside while the tram is moving and supervise your children. Thank you.
