Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the third Walt Disney World theme park to receive a digital sign for parking plaza operations. While EPCOT has a digital information board, it is located after you pass through the parking plaza. Back to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we can see that the digital sign has been installed on the right side of the roadway as you approach the parking plaza.

The sign is a Galaxy-class offering from DAKTRONICS (no relation to DAK acronym for theme park), and it will be utilized to produce variable messaging including parking rates and other messaging. This allows for Walt Disney World to provide accurate information for guests approaching the parking plaza instead of the static sign currently in place. This is especially helpful for the Preferred Parking option, which can change from day to day.
