PHOTOS: Track Installation Begins Again at Guardians of the Galaxy Roller Coaster in Epcot

It’s been months since we brought you the first look at the first piece of roller coaster track to be installed at the Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster. Since then, Disney hasn’t installed any more pieces that we could see. Work has mainly focused on finishing the massive gravity building as well as work on the exterior of the tunnel. We haven’t seen any additional track pieces installed, until today. Here’s a look at what we found.

A huge, banking curve meets you after an immediate incline. This curve allows the ride to enter the gravity building properly, as it sits off center from the launch tunnel.

Of course, we’ve known that track pieces have been on Walt Disney World property for some time now, just waiting to be installed. The Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster is expected to open by the end of 2021.
