Latest Look at Star Wars Hotel Construction Progress and Guest Cabins

As we made our way around Walt Disney World property today, we couldn’t help but notice the progress on the Star Wars hotel construction. The hotel is being constructed less than 1000′ from the Millennium Falcon parked in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

We’ll start with a few looks at the main structure. The hotel seems to be split into two main sections. One is the main experience area that will contain the lobby, restaurant, and other immersive experiences. The second part of the hotel is said to contain all of the guest cabins as they’re called. Cabins, of course, because the entire hotel will function as a spaceship, giving guests views of space out of all of the windows, including in their cabins (or rooms).

Shifting our view a bit reveals the spires of Black Spire Outpost in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in the background.

We can see that the four walls are up for the structure and large metal supports are starting to be erected.

Continuing around the structure to the east of the construction plot reveals the second part of the structure, the guest cabins.

Here’s a look at where the two sections of the hotel connect.

Continuing our rotation around the hotel shows the structure a bit better.

For a better overview, we take a look at some of the aerial photos taken by @bioreconstruct back on May 31st.

More details about the hotel are expected to be released in the coming months, so keep checking back with us for the latest news and photos for the Star Wars hotel and many more projects from around the Disney Parks.
