RUMOR: Brazil Pavilion Announcement Imminent for Epcot

According to multiple sources, Disney will finally announce the Brazil pavilion coming to Epcot at this weekend’s D23 Expo. Originally rumored to be announced at the 2017 D23 Expo, the idea was shelved, but never cancelled.

If sources are to be believed, Brazil will be built between the Germany and Italy pavilions. The only tenant in the expansion pad was a Disney Performing Arts trailer, and operations have been moved to Disney Springs, making way for the construction needed for the Brazil pavilion. A groundbreaking for the new pavilion could happen as soon as later this year.

Until Disney makes it official, this should be treated as a rumor. We anticipate that the announcement will be made during the Parks & Resorts panel on Sunday.
