Latest Round of Vacation Cancellations Announced for Disney World and Disneyland

Disney has begun notifying guests about cancelled vacation reservations. Obviously, with the Walt Disney World theme parks, this isn’t huge news as Disney has already identified a reopening date, but it remains relevant for Disneyland.

Walt Disney World Guests with bookings during the week of June 14-21, 2020 are receiving notifications, and Disneyland Resort Guests with reservations during the week of June 21-27, 2020 are receiving notifications.

Walt Disney World guests should begin to receive the emails tonight as Disney prepares to assist guests beginning tomorrow, June 5th.

    1. This is getting ridiculous folks. Come on! Aggressive behavior is going to become the norm for us if you don’t stop the dictating ways! Open up! People aren’t as stupid as our government make us out to be. We know our risks. Seems the government may be trying to start a civil war. Let’s keep people inside all summer and take away any fun they can have. Let’s see how bad it gets. Better arm yourself and be thankful you still can at this moment cause its gonna get ugly. And further more why are restraunts limiting their menus? Were open, but on a limited menu. Wtf?

    2. Right now its a now its a waiting game to see if Disneyland is going open up. Hope it does by August me and my woman are supposed to have our anniversary at Disneyland this will be our 3rd year anniversary. So we shall see?

    3. We have reservations in October. Our hotel reservations have not been cancelled yet BUT our dining and Bibbity Bobbity boutique HAVE been cancelled by Disney. Will they reach out to me when I can make the reservations, or at least try to, again? Really shocked that they are doing this for things in October!

    4. Just got my cancellation email for June 14 check-in date. Apparently, they’re only allowing rescheduling through the end of the year and only at DMC resorts.

    5. Dining reservations are being cancelled until the end of the year because they want to make sure they haven’t overbooked any events. I believe the new window for dining is at 60 days now, instead of 180. It’s slightly more annoying, given I had a perfect time for my brunch already, but they’re probably changing the max capacity so we can be 6 ft apart while we eat. Not sure about the boutique, you might have to give Disney a call/chat. Be ready to wait long times 🙁
