This article is part of a series of articles designed to help you plan your upcoming vacation in light of new safety measures and protocols designed to keep guests safe while visiting Walt Disney World. In this article, we’ll take a look at the Walt Disney World Ferry Boat social distancing and safety procedures.

The Disney World Ferry Boat system is one of the transportation options currently in use to bring guests to Magic Kingdom.

In this post, we’ll take a look at what it’s like to travel across the Seven Seas Lagoon with all-new social distancing procedures. For a look at the monorail safety procedures and social distancing, check out our earlier article.

Just like with the monorails, parties are asked to stand on a number prior to boarding the Ferry Boat. There are more spots to stand on for Ferry Boats than the monorail, perhaps because of how much time there is between ferries versus monorails.

On the boat, parties are asked to stand on spots that are socially distanced. As you can see, certain sections of the benches that are close to existing spots aren’t available for guests to sit on.

Other parts of the benches that are socially distanced from other standing areas are available for sitting.

Reminders to social distance are scattered throughout the ferry.
