Bright suns! While riding Rise of the Resistance today, we noticed that Kylo Ren was practicing some phycial distancing in the last scene. Instead of standing on the Star Destroyer just feet in front of guests in the final encounter scene, that Kylo Ren Audio-Animatronic has been put into “B-Mode” and Kylo can instead be seen in his ship outside of the windows. To see what B-Mode looks like, check out our video below, which was filmed this afternoon.
In talking with Cast Members, they said that this particular scene would operate like this for the rest of the day. While other scenes in the attraction will reset every few cars through, Cast Members told us “once it’s down, it’s down” in regards to the Kylo Ren final encounter. That said, they were hopeful that Kylo would return tomorrow.
