After operating with physical distancing modifications since August 2021, the Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage show took the first steps to a return to a (new) normal today at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The show, which was modified to include 6′ physical distancing, has dropped the distancing rules and updated some choreography to allow the actors to perform closer together.

Changes that we noticed included holding hands, handshakes, and handing off of props. The kiss between Belle and Prince Adam remains cut from the show and Cast Members tell us that that particular moment could take some time to return, if ever.
