According to a video posted to social media, the King Louie kite was torn open during a KiteTails performance at Animal Kingdom as it crashed into a nearby prop. Here’s a look.

It’s not immediately clear when the video was filmed, but it was uploaded today.
Yes, the KiteTails kites are designed to land in the stands, but you can clearly see the arm being torn off in the video above.
