Two Baby Zebras Born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Jambo from Disney’s Animal Kingdom and the Africa section of the theme park. While riding Kilimanjaro Safaris this afternoon, we noticed not one, but two baby Hartmann’s mountain zebras on the savannah. According to our safari guide, the zebras were born a few weeks ago and are in the process of being acclimated to all the wonderful sights and sounds on the safari. In our few rides observing and taking photos of the baby zebras, it looks like one is far more independent than the other, but it’s a big safari and plenty to explore over the coming months. The two baby zebras are being monitored by the animal care team and Disney will hopefully make an announcement about the new additions to the herd shortly!

In the meantime, here’s a look at the two new baby zebras at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
