There’s a bit of progress to report for the mystery project on Grand Avenue at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The project began back in early June when construction walls were first installed. A few days later, land clearing began and the first hint of a structure was discovered back in July.
Now, on a recent visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we noticed that the steel structure has taken shape as a likely snack/drink stand continues to be built. Here’s a look!

A peek at the construction site shows the structure frame and some plumbing. It’s likely that the plumbing is for a sink or small kitchen support. With BaseLine Taphouse across the street, it’s unlikely that this would be strictly a bar, but you never know. While we were hoping that the early work was to create some overflow seating for BaseLine, it’s clear that this will soon become a standalone offering. Previously, there was a pretzel/churro stand in this area.

Disney World has not announced what this structure will be.
