According to the Disney World website, The Diamond Horseshoe will be closed for a single day later this month. The Diamond Horseshoe will be closed all day on January 29th, reopening on January 30th. On January 29th, all of Magic Kingdom will be closing early for a Cast Member service celebration party, and it looks like The Diamond Horseshoe might be closed all day as part of that event.
Alternatively, it’s possible that Disney simply wants to keep the space closed as a cost-saving measure on that day. The Diamond Horseshoe effectively functions as an overflow space for the Liberty Tree Tavern, serving the same dishes at the same prices under different names.
Either way, plan on The Diamond Horseshoe being closed on January 29th. There will likely be walk-up availability at the Liberty Tree Tavern as an alternative.
