As crews continue to target a summer opening for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, construction walls around the entrance to the attraction have been pushed back, revealing some themed hardscape. While visiting Magic Kingdom earlier today, we stopped by to grab some photos of the recent changes. As you’ll see, the construction walls weren’t removed, but simply pushed back a few feet, revealing a rock curb and (likely) future flowerbeds.
We’ll start our photo tour of the area with a look at the front of the attraction, which will still run underneath the Frontierland railroad station.
Behind the rolling hedges on the right is more pavement work that’s visible from the exit of the Frontierland railroad station.
Behind the second layer of construction walls is an effort to rebuild the main staircase to the Frontierland railroad station. A temporary staircase is currently in use.
Back to our walking tour, we can see that some construction walls have been pushed back leading into the tunnel that currently is used for guests accessing the Frontierland restrooms.
On the other side of the tunnel, more construction walls have been pushed back on the right side of the walkway.
Here’s a view from the Walt Disney World Railroad of the area.
Back to our walk around the grounds, here are a few more angles of the construction walls pushed back. We expect to see some lamposts installed in the area, and perhaps a more beautified flowerbed when construction wraps up.
