Tom Sawyer Island Barrel Bridge Returns After 9-Month Refurbishment

Someone, somewhere, realized that the Tom Sawyer Island barrel bridge was still missing after our first report about it being removed some 9 months ago. The barrel bridge has returned. Tom Sawyer Island is full of little nooks and crannies that beg for a guest to explore, but there is perhaps no better advertising tool for the self-guided experience than the barrel bridge, visible from Liberty Square and to guests waiting in the Haunted Mansion queue.

The bridge was removed last June and has been missing up until very recently. While visiting Magic Kingdom, we stopped by Tom Sawyer Island to take a look at the refurbished bridge, which has yet to reopen to guests.
