Disney World Reaffirms Summer Reopening for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios

Walt Disney World has updated the attraction webpage for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster to reaffirm a summer reopening timeframe. Disney World had originally said that the ride would reopen in summer 2024 before it closed, but the “summer” timeframe had dropped off the webpage since then. That change prompted us to reach out to Disney World for clarification days ago, but they did not respond to our request.

Instead, the webpage has been updated recently to add the summer timeframe back into the refurbishment notice:

“Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith will be closed for routine refurbishment. This attraction is planned to reopen in summer 2024.”
