Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade Set to Close Permanently Next Week at Magic Kingdom

    Published:

According to a report from the Orlando Sentinel, the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade will have its final day of operation on June 23rd at Magic Kingdom. The Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade was an opening day offering at Magic Kingdom, and it went free-to-play back in October 2021. The Walt Disney World website has not yet been updated with the closing date.

Disney World is closing the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade to make way for the construction of a new Disney Vacation Club Members-only lounge. Earlier this year, Disney Vacation Club announced that there would be a new lounge coming to Walt Disney World. Back in early April, we reported that the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade was rumored to close. Earlier today, the closure was confirmed, but a closing date had not yet been announced.
