Good morning from Magic Kingdom where the Critter Co-Op is now officially open! The store had a soft opening yesterday evening, but today is the first day that it has opened with the park and has posted operating hours. The shop is open from park open until park close, and it features a wide assortment of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure merchandise.

Critter Co-Op Gift Shop for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Critter Co-Op replaces the former Briar Patch gift shop, and layers some new theming on a familiar layout. The Critter Co-Op serves as the main gift shop for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, with Tiana’s Bayou General serving as a smaller shop at the exit to the ride.
Before we step inside, here’s a detailed look back at the exterior of the gift shop when it was unveiled back in April.
Inside, the Critter Co-Op has a backstory all its own. The Critter Co-Op serves as the performance hall for The Bayou Community Band. Spoiler alert, the band members that we see posters for throughout the Critter Co-Op are also the same critters that we see in the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction as Tiana scrambles to assemble a last-minute entertainment act for her big Mardi Gras party.
The Critter Co-Op is pitch-perfect. The team in charge of this space nailed it. In addition to the buffet of details on the exterior of the shop, there are charming little corners that do the exact type of world-building that we think is missing from the attraction. Here’s a look around!
