A seating area has opened at EPCOT after a lengthy construction timeline. Nearly one year after construction began, and years after it previously closed, the relaxation area along the Rose Walk pathway from World Celebration to World Showcase is now open.

The area features no shade outside of table umbrellas, but fans have been installed and are turned on high as Central Florida experiences feels like temperatures above 100°. There is very soft astroturf in most of the area, and two festival kiosks (currently closed) are installed on either side of the seating area. With no shade, the astroturf was hot to the touch this afternoon and likely will continue to be throughout the summer.
