While visiting EPCOT today, we noticed that FriendShip IV was out and about on World Showcase Lagoon. The boat recently received a new paint scheme, and it looks like it was getting its sea legs back as crews took it for a spin on the east side of the Lagoon to test functionality. The FriendShip IV has a similar, but inverse paint scheme to the FriendShip VIII.
The FriendShip VIII debuted a new look just over a year ago. As a matter of fact, the FriendShip VIII was the third FriendShip to debut a new look, but the first to feature a dark blue hull that all other ships in the fleet would adopt. Back in October 2022, FriendShip IV had a white hull, as seen in our article below, but Disney has recently repainted it with a dark blue hull as the white hulls were showing too much wear and tear.
The FriendShip IV, seen below, has a light blue top, yellow middle, and dark blue hull with a light blue stripe.
