Morocco Dock Reopens, Germany Dock Closes (Again) as FriendShip Boats Return to New Normal at EPCOT

Well, the limited-time magic of being able to use a FriendShip Boat for actual travel savings around World Showcase Lagoon has passed. As you may recall, a few weeks ago we noticed that the FriendShip Boat service within EPCOT changed from utilizing the Morocco dock to utilizing the long-dormant Germany dock.

At the time, we were told that the change was to allow for a refurbishment of the Morocco dock and that the use of the Germany dock wasn’t a permanent change. While we never spotted any real refurbishment of the Morocco dock, it looks like whatever work that caused the dock to close has been completed.

As a reminder, the Germany and Mexico FriendShip docks have been closed since the COVID-19 park closures, with the only exception being the recent limited-time use of the Germany dock.

While visiting EPCOT earlier today, we noticed that the Morocco dock was back in service and that the Germany dock was closed once again.

The Morocco dock is back in service, taking guests to World Celebration. Or, more accurately, to the World Showcase Plaza near the Canada Pavilion and the Port of Entry shop.
