Following months of work, a new Disney Vacation Club showcase and gallery room has opened at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The room is located in the Great Ceremonial House (main lobby) and is across from the longstanding DVC desk near the first-floor BouTiki gift shop. We stopped by Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort today to take a look around!
New Disney Vacation Club Showcase at Polynesian Village Resort
This space was previously used as a private meeting room for guests to discuss the Disney Vacation Club program with Cast Members, but it wasn’t utilized much. Now, the showcase and gallery acts as an open space for all guests to enjoy some artwork and learn a bit more about Disney Vacation Club properties.

Wayfinding Home
Wayfinding, or the practice of navigating using the stars, guided ancient Polynesian voyagers across the seas for thousands of years. Thanks to historical evidence, we know Lapita wayfinders traveled beyond the Polynesian triangle to reach a different cluster of islands, known today as Melanesia.
This gallery celebrates the rich tradition of Polynesian exploration and their discovery of Melanesian art, showing that though these distinctive cultures may share an ocean, they are undeniably unique.
Wherever your journey takes you, Disney Vacation Club is here to help you chart your course.
Welcome home.

In speaking with DVC Cast Members, they haven’t been given a lot of information about the space, but it is pretty self-explanatory at the moment. We asked if some of the finishes were similar to what guests can expect from the Island Tower, but Cast Members were not sure.

For guests looking to learn more about DVC, there is a “Magic Door” similar to the one in the Gateway to Discovery in Disney Springs that allows you to “step inside” select DVC properties. The Magic Door wasn’t working when we visited.
