CommuniCore Hall, the flexible EPCOT Festival venue, is now closed for a transformation into the “Glittering Grove” for the 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. CommuniCore Hall, which we think is a horrible addition to EPCOT, has changed for the seasonal festivals, but never really lived up to the original vision of a Festival Center as originally outlined in Disney’s EPCOT overhaul plans.

CommuniCore Hall Holiday Offerings
When it reopens on Friday, CommuniCore Hall will be decked out for the holidays and offer the following experiences:
- Glittering Grove – Stroll around CommuniCore Hall to take in beautiful, seasonal decor inspired by the unique design of EPCOT. Enjoy an enchanting forest with the Glittering Grove presented by Balsam Hill, where twinkling trees bring festive flair
- Festival Merchandise – Speaking of trees – if you need to find some presents to put under a tree of your own, you’ll also find an assortment of festival merchandise inside CommuniCore Hall.
- New Holiday Kitchens – CommuniCore Hall will play host to two new holiday kitchens. The Experimental Prototype Cookies of Tomorrow will serve cookies and even feature a Spaceship Earth gingerbread triangle decorating kit. The second Holiday Kitchen will be the Favorites of Festivals Past, located right outside CommuniCore Hall.
- Snowflake Decorating – Stepping outside of CommuniCore Hall and into CommuniCore Plaza, you’ll find a new, complimentary activity that is perfect for kids of all ages – snowflake decorating!
- JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season – JOYFUL! returns this year to an all-new stage in CommuniCore Plaza
