Making our way into the next section of greenhouses, we wanted to pause real quickly to talk about an upcoming specialty holiday tour debuting for the first time ever this year.
Behind the Seeds: Glimmering Greenhouses
This specialty tour is offered for a limited time during the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. The tour takes place after dark and offers a behind-the-scenes look at The Land Pavilion and the Glimmering Greenhouses overlay.
The Glimmering Greenhouses tour is an hour long, and it will allow guests an inside look at the crops that bring festive flavors to holiday traditions, a look at the brilliant light display, and the various growing techniques on display within the greenhouses.

The next seasonal display that we’ll see contains citrus and fresh fruits – a rarity for the majority of the northern hemisphere during the cold, sometimes harsh winter months.
Citrus, like the oranges grown here, are common in Florida, but in northern Europe, where fresh fruit is rare in winter, they’re much harder to find, making them an extra special stocking stuffer.Â
During Chinese New Year, these vibrant fruits are given as gifts of good fortune.Â
The left side of the boat features the fictional The Land Coffee Company, which has a very special identifier on the bag.
