Following up on our report that Disney appeared to be close to reactivating the in-ground lighting in World Celebration Gardens, Disney has indeed done just that. While visiting EPCOT tonight, we noticed that the lighting was reactivated after being turned off completely during recent visits this Fall. That said, the lighting continues to struggle and is simply working in sort of a pulsing mode where strips of lights are turned on and then off again. This is not how the lights were displayed when World Celebration Gardens first opened up nearly a year ago. Here’s a look!

And here are some photos of the lighting from tonight. Note that at no point do all of the lights turn on at the same time as they did when World Celebration Gardens first opened last December. At this point it’s unclear if the lights will ever work like they used to, or if this is the new normal. Here’s a look.
