The Disney Believe’s maiden voyage has sold out. As of 11am, Disney Cruise Line’s website no longer lists the five-night Bahamian sailing departing December 18th, 2027, as available. The sailing filled during Castaway Club early booking, which began October 12th, ahead of general booking on October 19th. Here’s the latest.
Disney Believe Maiden Voyage Sells Out During Castaway Club Early Booking

Castaway Club early booking for the Disney Believe’s inaugural season opened October 12th, and the December 18th, 2027 maiden voyage is now unavailable. That sailing is the first trip aboard the new ship, departing Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale. Disney gave each Castaway Club tier its own booking day, and the public can book starting October 19th.
What the Maiden Voyage Offered
The maiden voyage is a five-night Bahamian cruise sailing December 18-23, 2027. It visits Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, Disney Castaway Cay, and Nassau, as we laid out in our inaugural season guide. Disney confirmed the sail date and the Fort Lauderdale homeport during the October 7th livestream.
The maiden voyage starting rates cover two guests and include taxes, fees, and port expenses:
- Inside: $6,444
- Oceanview: $6,764
- Verandah: $7,134
- Concierge: $17,074
Disney’s booking policies for the sailing also cover payment. The company lists a non-refundable 10% deposit due by 11:59pm Eastern time on the day of booking. Final payment is due 120 days before sailing for suites and Concierge staterooms and 90 days before for every other category.
Those final payment dates will be worth watching for guests who are still hoping to sail on the maiden voyage. As final payments come due and plans change, it is very likely that staterooms will become available as cancelations are made.
What Is Still Open for Booking
The inaugural season includes 29 sailings from Fort Lauderdale through May 6th, 2028. All other dates appear to be available as of right now. Silver Castaway Club members, Disney Vacation Club members, and Adventure Insiders book on October 15th, and the general public books on October 19th. Rates in the guide start at $2,683 for two guests on the four-night sailing departing January 20th, 2028.
Disney Vacation Club members have a separate option with the Disney Believe’s First Wave sailing, a five-night voyage departing January 5th, 2028. That sailing departs less than three weeks after the maiden voyage. Members can book by phone starting November 21st at 10:00am Eastern time.
