Google will be taking photos throughout the Magic Kingdom over the next week to bring Street View to the park. The Street View Trekker team will cover outdoor areas in the park, the Ticket and Transportation Center, and restaurants.
UPDATE: @WDWShutterbug got a good pic of the Trekker camera, in what appears to be the exit to the Liberty Square Riverboat.
Twitter user @dichuy posted this picture of a Google Maps Street View employee taking a ride across the Rivers of America, returning to Frontierland from Tom Sawyer Island.
Zooming in a bit, we see the camera mount, in green, a little better.
No word yet on if other parks will be covered.
So what do you think? Would you like to take a walk around the Magic Kingdom from your own home?
I will definitely be doing virtual visits! Hopefully they will revisit every few months to keep the pictures current.
