We made it out to Disney’s Hollywood Studios last night, and in the dying moments of sunlight we were able to capture the infrastructure work being done for the upcoming Christmas season.
Lines of PVC are being run out to the island, where it appears a hole has been dug and reinforced with concrete. Per Disney, there will be extra-large ornaments, colorful garlands and a giant Christmas tree centered on the water for this Christmas season.
Meanwhile, the S.S Down The Hatch is being refurbished as well.
Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner is unaffected by the refurbishment and remains open.
The echo lake refurbishment is scheduled to be completed later this month.
