Gertie the Dino Repainting Continues at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Well, color me surprised. During a recent visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we noticed that Disney is repainting the main body of the Gertie the Dino ice cream shop along the bank of Echo Lake. We recently took a look at the reconstruction of Gertie’s tail, but thought that Disney might skip repainting the body given how disconnected the two were.

As it turns out, Disney will be doing a full body repainting of Gertie, to match the tail green to the body. As you can see in our photos below, the current paint color of the body is more of a teal than a green, and Disney has started to repaint the dry-land side of the dino.

As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com as we continue to bring you the latest news, photos, and info from around the Disney Parks!
