PHOTOS: Theming Elements Spotted for Incredibles Takeover of Pixar Place

While visiting Hollywood Studios today, the Little Tokyo Travel Company wasn’t the only new thing that we spotted. We also noticed new theming elements for the upcoming Metroville overlay of Pixar Place.

Of course, Pixar Place has been closed since shortly after the grand opening of Toy Story Land last summer. With the switchover of the Toy Story Mania entrance, there was little need to keep Pixar Place open. That will change come January 18th though with the unveiling of Metroville, an overlay of sorts with theming to make the area feel like it could be a location straight from The Incredibles. Planned for the overlay is an Edna Mode meet and greet, a dance party, and a Jack-Jack hunt!

While walking towards Toy Story Land, we spotted what appears to be a new billboard installed at the entrance to Metroville.

While the gates are still closed until January 18th, we shifted our vantage point to see some theming work in progress just past the billboard.

A closer look revealed the outline of Jack-Jack from The Incredibles. It appears that Disney is using a sticker or painting of Jack-Jack, but final judgement will be reserved for January 18th.
