Seasons Greetings from Municiberg! Pixar Plaza at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has received some initial “decorations” for the 2023 Holiday Season, and we stopped by earlier today to take a look around!
A former Elemental photo op has transformed into a seasonal backdrop that invites guests to take a photo.
Here’s a closer look at the mural.
Another change that we assume is for the holiday season, but one that we could see sticking around for a bit, is a new backdrop for the Frozone meet and greet. His previous background was rather generic, but this new backdrop looks much better for a chilly encounter with Frozone.
Disney Jollywood Nights
During the separately ticketed Disney Jollywood Nights event, guests will find a few characters scattered throughout the park – including Pixar Plaza. Highlights include:
- Mickey & Friends Holiday Greeting – Head to Animation Courtyard and meet Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy and Pluto on the set of their holiday movie! Delight in red carpet moments and discover 2 all-new Disney PhotoPass locations inspired by Disney Jollywood Nights.
- Echo Lake Holiday Celebration – Step into nostalgia-land at Echo Lake, where you may spot some classic Disney Channel pals—like Powerline Max, Rescue Rangers Chip ‘n’ Dale, Phineas and Ferb!
- Holidays à la Mode – Chill out and pose for pics with Edna Mode and Frozone at this super-fun party in Pixar Plaza.
