Disney has announced that Mermaid School will be unavailable from January 5 through February 29, 2020 due to anticipated cooler temperatures. Mermaid School reservations are still available through January 4, 2020 at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts, and will return in early spring 2020. During this time, Guests are still welcome to use the pools and participate in daily poolside activities.

As a reminder, Mermaid School allows guests ages 4 and older to partake in an hour-long class where they’ll be fitted with a swimmable “tail” and led through activities teaching them how to swim in a pool like a mermaid. Classes are $50/person (plus tax). Reservations are available by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.
