The Kingdom Cabanas in the Magic Kingdom will soon see a pretty dramatic price drop. Normally offered for $649 per day, they will be offered for $499 per day from January 17th – February 17th.
This price drop brings the total to $63 per person if you split it among a maximum of 8 guests. While there is still much to be said about the aesthetics of the cabanas, a price drop like this might be a bit more tempting to larger families looking for a space to call their own on a full day at the Magic Kingdom. Disney has yet to officially confirm or announce the price change. It is expected that this is a test of a lower price point during a period of lower attendance.
Just wondering. If you want to get away from people, why go to WDW. I have always felt that they crowds and busyness of the place was one of its attractions. Or is it just Disney’s way of catering to those who consider themselves “too good’ to rub shoulders with the “common folk.”
