Most of the attractions at Magic Kingdom are closed unexpectedly tonight following a mass shutdown of nearly 20 rides. The cause of the temporary closures is currently unknown. Walt Disney World has not released a statement about what caused attractions from Tomorrowland to Frontierland and everywhere in between to close.
Attractions Closed Unexpectedly at Magic Kingdom
The following attractions all closed unexpectedly during the 6pm hour and remain closed as of 8:30pm:
- The Barnstormer
- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
- Country Bear Musical Jamboree
- Dumbo the Flying Elephant
- “it’s a small world”
- Mad Tea Party
- The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
- The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
- Peter Pan’s Flight
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Prince Charming Regal Carrousel
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
- Space Mountain
- Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
- Tomorrowland Speedway
- Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid
- Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress
- Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room
The following attractions are operating:
- Tomorrowland Transit Authority
- Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor
- Haunted Mansion
- Jungle Cruise
- Mickey’s PhilharMagic
- TRON Lightcycle Run
A report from wdwmagic says that the downtime is being caused by an issue with Magic Kingdom’s compressed air system, but that is unconfirmed at this hour.
