The Polite Pig, a new “modern barbecue” eatery at Disney Springs opened this morning. While we didn’t sit down for a meal, we’ll be back later for a review of the offerings. In the meantime, here’s a look around the space.
The Polite Pig is located next to the Lime Garage escalators, across from Uniqlo and Under Armour, just a short walk from World of Disney.
There is exterior seating and what appears to be a permanent variety of the famous movable planters.
It even has an indoor/outdoor bar.
When you first enter, you’re greeted by a food prep area, furnace, and ordering area.
A look at the interior part of the bar.
The main dining space seems to be plenty large enough to meet demand, of which there was minimal this morning.
Just like the re-purposed farmhouse that makes up D-Luxe Burger, or the old Springs Bottling Company warehouse that is modern-day Morimoto Asia, The Polite Pig attempts a backstory as a farmers market.
We’ll be back later for a review of the food!
