PHOTOS: First Look Around Walt Disney World Roadways After Hurricane Irma

With the brunt Hurricane Irma now well past Walt Disney World, we’re getting our first look around the roadways of the resort. Let’s dive in.

The overarching theme is that there was some tree damage, but the vast majority of the signage remained intact. Here’s a look at the iconic entrance arch.

A peek past the Hollywood Studios entrance shows a tree down near the roadway.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge had no visible damage.

The Tower of Terror sign is still perfectly intact.

Tower cranes at both Toy Story Land and Disney’s Riviera Resort are still standing.

There was some damage to ground signage.

There was also damage to the Speedway Gas Station sign near Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

A tree was down at the back of the Hollywood Studios parking lot.

The monorail line showed a little bit of damage.

Other than that, it’s mostly downed trees and flooding that doesn’t affect traffic.

We’ll continue to keep an eye on the resort and be visiting the parks tomorrow to report on any damage that may have occurred.
