BREAKING: Maleficent Float Catches on Fire During Festival of Fantasy at Magic Kingdom

Reports are flooding in on Twitter of the Maleficent dragon float catching on fire during today’s Festival of Fantasy parade.

UPDATE (4:42pm): Disney has said that nobody was harmed in the incident.

UPDATE (4:40pm): Here’s a better look at the damage incurred by the float.

UPDATE (3:52pm): Here’s a short video of Cast Members attempting to extinguish the fire as the float sat in Liberty Square.

Another user shared some photos of what appeared to be a heavily damaged dragon head after the fire had been extinguished.
