March of the First Order and Roaming Stormtroopers Ending July 6th; Relocating to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

To prepare for their presence on Batuu, roaming Stormtroopers will have their final appearance in Disney’s Hollywood Studios on July 6th. Beginning July 7th, they will return to their Star Destroyer to begin preparations for the invasion of Batuu. This also means that the March of the First Order will have its final showing on July 6th, going dark on July 7th.

The changes are needed to make updates to the Stormtrooper costuming, as well as begin rehearsals for the in-land entertainment offerings.

Beginning July 7, 2019 the March of the First Order will no longer be included in the Star Wars Guided Tour. Instead, you will have the opportunity to march with some of your favorite Star Wars characters from the live stage show, Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away.

The roaming Stormtroopers will return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Batuu only, starting on August 29th when Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens to the public.

From time to time, Kylo Ren himself may even arrive in Black Spire Outpost, impressing upon its inhabitants the power and strength of the First Order. He consults with the First Order Officer assigned to this trading port and sets out with a contingent of Stormtroopers to interrogate the locals, seeking any Resistance sympathizers.

The mighty Wookiee, Chewbacca, may be spotted in Black Spire Outpost, rounding up new recruits for the Resistance and helping to establish a temporary base hidden away from the outpost and the prying eyes of the First Order. Vi Moradi, a Resistance spy working under orders from General Organa, makes her way through the area, sharing some of the tricks of her trade and ensuring those she encounters that the Resistance is getting stronger. And as you explore the wooded outskirts of the village, you may also encounter Rey as she greets recruits, champions the Resistance and inspires everyone she meets.
