According to Disney’s online calendar, the Legends of Hollywood shop is set to reopen on August 23rd at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Legends of Hollywood closed back in March to expand into the now permanently closed Planet Hollywood shop.
While the photo above represents what the location looked like during the refurbishment, we have a look back at the interior of the shop before it closed earlier this year. Disney hasn’t commented on if the interior will get a new look, but we do know that the shop will be expanded into the old Planet Hollywood Superstore space next door.
It’s unknown how much of the connecting wall will be blown out to expand the space, but here’s a look at the wall that the two shops shared before they closed. The connecting wall would be the back wall with the portraits on it. If Disney just tears down that wall we might be able to keep the mural seen in the photo above. Only time will tell.
