Walt Disney World Resort to Lift Pet Ban Policy for Guests Staying During Hurricane Dorian

According to multiple managers that we’ve spoken with at multiple Walt Disney World Resorts, Disney will be lifting the pet restriction policy for guests staying at a Disney resort between August 31st and September 3rd due to the expected impact of Hurricane Dorian. During this timeframe guests with pets are not restricted to pet-friendly hotels. All hotels will be accepting pets. Also, guests who check in by September 3rd are able to bring their pets for the duration of their stay.

Disney has yet to make an announcement with regards to any operational impacts that Hurricane Dorian will have on the resort, but we expect them to make a statement soon. If you are concerned about your upcoming stay, we suggest calling the reservations center to speak with a Cast Member.

As Hurricane Dorian approaches Walt Disney World and the Central Florida area, we will continue to keep you up to date on the latest information. Keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com for the latest from around the Disney Parks.
