Photo and Video Tour of ‘Enchanted Rose Lounge’ Beauty and the Beast-Inspired Bar at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

Construction walls are down at the Enchanted Rose Lounge this afternoon at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. We’re on site to give you a full photo tour of the space ahead of a planned official opening on Tuesday, October 8th. Located on the second floor of the Grand Floridian lobby, this re-imagined lounge takes over the space of the former Mizner’s Lounge and will celebrate the magic and romance of Disney’s popular live-action movie. Featuring four unique spaces inspired by Belle and the Beast, you’ll find charm and elegance around every corner. The lounge includes a chandelier inspired by Belle’s flowing ball gown as well as a formal library that will showcase classical baroque designs and French furnishing. A garden room will take its inspiration from the enchanted forest surrounding the castle, and an outdoor patio will evoke the romance of Beast’s garden terrace. Here’s a tour of the space!

    The Showcase Ballroom Bar

This space was the former home of Commander Porters gift shop, and has made an amazing transformation into The Showcase Bar.

    The Formal Library

This space was the former home of Mizner’s Lounge and is now referred to as The Formal Library.

    The Whimsical Garden

This space use to be a seating area next to Commander Porters and has transformed into The Whimsical Garden.

    The Outdoor Patio

The room with the fewest changes is The Outdoor Patio, which sees some changes in details and theming. Overall, it’s a simple space that has small touches.

    1. Looks nice, but it doesn’t look remotely like Beauty and the Beast. And the murals outside look like Eyvind Earle, so that’s more of a Sleeping Beauty vibe.
