Boeing has confirmed that they were the suppliers for the drone base of the X-Wings used in the Rise of the Resistance opening event. In an email response to The Drive, Boeing said the following:

“We can confirm that those were Boeing aircraft that flew last night at the Rise Of The Resistance dedication, and we were excited to be part of their event, but that’s all we’re sharing right now.”

The drones, which we first reported about two weeks ago, are intended for limited use in the skies above Batuu, possibly having their last appearance tonight.
