Blockout dates are a real worry for not only Disney annual passholders, but Disney Cast Members as well. Cast Members haven’t been able to visit Hollywood Studios since a few days before Rise of the Resistance opened and now it appears they won’t be able to visit for quite some time after.
According to calendars released this past weekend, Cast Member self-admission (and main entrance pass) is blocked out for Hollywood Studios through the end of March 2020, leading right into spring break which also doesn’t look promising. These dates, of course, are subject to change, but it does prove that Rise of the Resistance is bringing the crowds to Hollywood Studios.
Cast members can indeed visit, just not for free. In order to visit they would have to purchase a one-day ticket.
