Disney has extended more operating hours for Disney’s Hollywood Studios next month. The extension keeps the 7am opening going longer into the month. Previously, Disney transitioned from a 7am opening on January 4th to an 8am opening on January 5th, but that has changed. Here’s a look at the adjustments:

• January 5-11: Hours extended from 8am opening to 7am opening. Closing remains unchanged.

This change appears to indicate that Disney anticipates crowd levels for Rise of the Resistance to stay high after the holiday season. Of course, while it looks like Rise of the Resistance is operating better by getting through more boarding groups in a day now than it did in the week or two after opening, our advice still remains that you should try to get to the park about 60 minutes before the officially scheduled opening.
