More Concrete Poured for Future World East Pathway Widening Project at Epcot

As Disney prepares for a massive shift in guest flow at the front of Epcot, they continue to make progress on the Future World east walkway widening project.

Since we last took a look at the project, more swaths of land have had concrete poured over them, as seen below.

The concrete extends to the restrooms, which still seem to be under refurbishment as well.

With MouseGear moved to a new, temporary location, there is little reason for this pathway to be open at this point.

Just to the left of the below photo is the portion of widened pathway that connects guests to the Family Playground area that is currently themed to Wall-E.

As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com as we continue to watch the work progress.
